Subject: Assignment 4

I do not believe that traditioal sex roles contribute positively to the development of truly free personality. When children are younger the traditional roles are instilled in them. They learn that boys are conditioned to do certain things and girls are conditioned to do certain things. When the child gets older they realize that not only are they able to do what the other gender can do but in some cases they want to do. This puts a strain on their development of truly free personality, they have been coditioned to think one way but they feel that they should be able to do whatever it is that they want to do despite the sex role that they are in.
