EATING DISORDER

I BELIEVE THAT EATING DISORDERS SHOULD BE DISCUSSED IN THIS CLASS BECAUSE IT IS A GROWING PROBLEM. MOST EATING DISORDERS ARE DISQUISED SO NO ONE ON THE OUTSIDE WOULD KNOW. IF WE LEARN ABOUT THESE DISORDERS, WE AS EDUCATORS OR NURSES WILL KNOW THE SIGNS AND JUST MAY BE ABLE TO SAVE A LIFE. THESE DISORDERS ARE FOUND NOT ONLY IN YOUNG KIDS BUT IN ADULTS ALSO. MUST ADULTS CARRY OVER THESE BAD HABITS FROM CHILDHOOD. WITH OBESITY BEING SUCH A HUGE PROBLEM IN AMERICA, PEOPLE ARE DOING ANYTHING THESE DAYS TO BECOME THE PERFECT IMAGE. I PERSONALLY DO NOT KNOW ANYONE WITH AN EATING DISORDER. I FEEL THAT IT SHOULD NOT MATTER HOW I LOOK ON THE OUTSIDE, BUT I WANT PEOPLE TO LOVE ME FOR THE PERSON I AM ON THE INSIDE, AND I MUST LOVE MYSELF BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE CAN LOVE ME.
