We just updated our Hood Laws because of this issue. It now states that a couple wanting to get married can sign a prenup, but they don't have to. If they do not and get divroced before the 10 day anniversery, then the divorced sim gets nothing.

If they do sign a prenup then the estate is divided according to the contract.

If they divorce on or after the 10 days then it's 50/50 split, and who gets what is decided by a judge. But if there was a prenup, then the contract is honored in their case.

So that's Riverdale's stance on the subject of divorce. Hope that helps!
