*. caro lead over a black, throughbred mare. stroking the horse's neck soothingly, she whispered softly in the pair of pricked ears. hello Bob, this is spite. she is a bit of a handful, so be careful with her, she'll listen once she is on the track. holding the lead rope firmly, she nodded to the light-weight racing saddle. take her at a trot around once, then a canter, then you can let her out in a collected gallop until the half-mile marker. and finally out into a full gallop after that. she is used to a hand ride and a gentle, but firm touch. nodding her head, she patted spite's cheek softly, hoping to calm her a bit.

*. spite danced her hind 'quarters around in a half circle. tossing the sculpted head as far as the rope would let, papery thin nasals quivered to reveal scarlet interiors. silken tail lashed quietly across haunches, supple neck arched elegantly. spite nudged the sword attatched to caro's waist, then the bow and quiver, with her whiskery nose. she wanted to watch those - she liked those things.
