Author: dancer. moonlight. caro.
Subject: *. whickers

*. dancer tossed the finely crafted head and danced to the right. silken tail lashed against taut hind 'quarters. supple neck curved as she nudged her young child, whickering quietly to her. petite ears were pricked alertly atop the refined skull. moonlight scuttled closer to her mother side and whickered softly. over-sized ears flicking atop her skull. the large, amber eyes were wide as she gazed out into the aisle from the only place she could see into the aisle, the very back of the box stall.

*. caroline rushed over to their stall and grabbed the mare's lead rope. hooking it quickly onto her halter, she opened the stall door. calm down m'girls. take it easy. she began to lead the pair down the aisle and toward the paddocks.

*. with the grace of a dancer, the fiery mare pranced after her trusted friend. nudging her side occasionally, hoping for a carrot. moonlight scurried after her dam on spindly legs. tossing the over-sized head, she whickered loudly. her brush of a tail licked at her haunches. caroline had saved her life when she was born and stayed with her almost every hour she could with her - she trusted and loved her.
