Along this note, I have experience with people also stating that if a child has no father figure than this is the reason that they are acting out. I grew up in a single-parent household with no father and still went to college and became successful. Whether it is the mother or the father or both parents who raise a child, they do not get the recognition that they deserve for their effort. Some parents may be giving parenting and discipline their all but have children who continue to act out at school and at home. But how does one determine what factors cause a child to act out even with good parenting?
