Teyjatt Weyr: Dining Hall and Kitchens
There are three kitchens at Teyjatt Weyr: one large and two smaller. The large [Main] makes all the food for the Weyr. The two smaller [Storage and Dragonet] ones: One makes up food for long-storage in the Weyr and one is used only when there are dragonets and flits who are not hunting their own food yet. That one is used for the quantities of wherry and other meats they consume. That kitchen also delivers meats to the Weyrling Barracks as required. All kitchens are overseen by Head Cook, Baran, who is equal to the Headwoman in rank.
Most residents of the Weyr eat at long tables in the kitchens. A station is set up with a warming pot for klah. Wine must be requested from the Main Kitchen. Only the Dining Hall is used for Hatching Feasts, Gathers and other occasions of the Weyr deemed a priority.
For flit owners: There are bowls of warmed sand that will hold unhatched eggs for you until they hatch.
