Baran gave a thought about that old saying as he loked through what the Dragonets kitchen had for a set-up. Normally locked to keep the sharp knives from sticky hands, it was not well-outfitted yet.
With the Weyrwoman and her Weyrmate gone to a Hatching, this room had weighed greatly on Baran's mind. for when and then Issinth clutched there would be MANY dragonets and even flits to feed.

Hmmm..A flit? Hadn't seen or had a flit in ages. Not since Rennau

Was there even one on the Flit Cove Sands that he could ask the queen flit for? He couldn't sing and never could in his 47 years. He could bring some tempting morsels for the flit queen though.
Thought in mind, Baran left the small, secondary kitchen and locked it tight.
