Maggie, your best bet is to purchase a current copy of B.E.
Bickel's "The Condominium Bluebook"---A Handbook for California Homeowner Associations. This pretty much says it all with Corporate Codes, Civil Codes, Safety Codes given. If you have requested a written response from the BOD, I believe the BOD HAS to respond to you within a 30 day period from the date of your request or they are in noncompliance of the law. If they continue to ignore your request, you can go directly to the Superior Court in Riverside and ask the judge to appoint an independent audit committee. You can also write a letter to the attorney for the Farm stating you have made a written request of the BOD. These are just some suggestions--maybe right, maybe wrong. Do believe the handbook would be beneficial to you.
