Subject: Phyllis' Response to JL

This message is in response to Phyllis’ “Response to JL”. I very seldom come to this site but have posted a couple of items on here in the past. None of the postings have ever mentioned Phyllis and I have never posted a derogatory remark about her on this site. I hesitate to even post this message because I know she will come back with some more defamatory remarks about me. Her posting mentioned above is slanderous in that she defames my character as an employee and as a person. As I have mentioned previously, I did leave employment at The Farm Office at the direction of my doctor. Phyllis stated in her inflammatory response that my resignation indicated I left for more reasons than that. My resignation stated that under doctor’s orders, I was leaving and I did go into detail about why I had become so sick and that resignation was a confidential memo written to the Board and should not be discussed on this web site. I did not resent Phyllis for doing her job, I simply did not like the way she was doing “her job”. I worked at the Farm Barn for a few weeks shy of a year, starting in the ACC office and moving up to the Administrative Office after Sharla left. I loved my job and worked extremely hard for a good Board that was led by Mary Austin. I know that Mary will attest to the fact that I did an excellent job from the day I walked into the Barn until the day I left. Mary Austin was the kind of President who let me do my job, had faith in my abilities and never pitted employee against employee. I knew what needed to be done and I did it, even taking on extra responsibilities when asked. I never had a problem with any Board member until Phyllis became President in May. I still did not have problems with any of the Board members except her after she became President. When I left my position, every bit of my work was up-to-date and nothing had been left undone, except some Violation meetings that needed to be set up. I don’t understand why the word has been passed around that I did nothing while I was there. As far as Phyllis’ remark that “neither one of them had been doing their job very well. No wonder they had so much time spending it in each others office, they didn’t do their work.” In this statement, Phyllis is not only slandering me, but my fellow employees. Yes, there were times that we were in each other’s offices, mostly, the employees came to my office. We had many things to discuss that involved the Farm and it’s activities and each other’s jobs and responsibilities. We did not spend large amounts of frivolous time doing nothing. That is an out-and-out blatant lie. I worked my full eight hours and often more each day on Farm activities. Each of the employees at different times of the day came to me with questions or reporting on activities they were working on and it was my job to be there for them as the Administrator. Phyllis also stated that I “was busy defending Seth, her comments were the office couldn’t run without him. Well that doesn’t say much for her administrative job does it?” Yes, I did make the comment that The Farm couldn’t run as well without Seth and I truly believed that. If I was wrong, so be it, but Seth knew everything about everything and I felt that he should not have been treated so shabbily by Phyllis. I did not say that my office or that my job could not be done without him…. I did my job and he did his job. A lot of people felt the way I do about Seth and how we would manage without him.

I know that after Phyllis reads this message she will come back and slander me some more, but I wish she would just leave things alone. I left because I had to and I have moved on with my life and doing better now. Ask the people who are respected in this community about what kind of job I did while I worked there. Ask people like Betty Bradley, Norma Suchand, Renee Weber, Mary Austin, Gordon Cox, Gordon Coutts, Ben Fetterman and so many more……don’t ask Phyllis or her close friends. Also, just ask yourself why four employees, who needed a job, would leave their employment and each of them name Phyllis as the reason.

This is the last time I will enter my thoughts on this website, even when Phyllis comes back with more misinformation and lies.
