Some of my favourite people were due to play at Commplex (spelled both yuppyishly and irritatingly)and were cancelled from the bill at the *very* last minute, having been in the building for 6 hours previous to this. The reason given being thazt they hadn't sold enough tickets themselves. Now what, exactly, is a promoter's job, again? Anyway, their cancellation was announced immediateky before their set was due to start, leaving many disgruntled customers who had come purely for the Wildtype and Doolah combination (not the bland, tasteless, almost offensive in their talentlessness bands offered between these sets) and a band who had been sitting waiting for their set to start for six hours. I, for one, am never, never ever going to fucking Commplex ever again, and I'd advise anyone who reads this board not to as well. I hope I never have to waste any of my precious time ever again talking to such an imbecile as that promoter: life is short enough without wasting it listening to crap bands and being fobbed off by halfwits, which(with the exception of Doolah) is all I was offered this evening. So, I have every intention of adding a new page to this site: Places never to Go, and first on the list... tada! COMMPLEX! Cunts
