Haunted Forest

You stumble around in the darkness, waiting for your eyesight to adjust. Ha. You've been waiting for that for quite a while now. Oh well, you'll just have to continue letting your other senses guide you. Through the gloom, up ahead you see a forest. Giants looms high above, dead and dying, shedding their leaves and bark, rotting from the inside, the ancient trees are the giants that loom above. You enter the forest and a wolf or other wild beast howls its dismay. The sound is forlorn and sad. Still...there MIGHT be food. You doubt it yourself...but still. You canter to it and enter it. You slowly walk through, feeling as if your not alone. Perhaps it is the spirits that roam and stalk those who dare enter their domain.
