They got the new johnnie mercers pier open now. I went out there and kingfished when it was free for a day hehee. its alot closer to fish topsail or wrightsville beach piers but i will still fish ocean crest. The price is high at 8 bucks a rod!!!! Thats like 24 bucks to kingfish!! whoa... thats high... The only way i can see fishing on that pier is with a slide rig. but thats still a disadvantage cause you have to cast your rod everytime out there...
