Hi i read this message , because i am having a dog with something like a an abcess on his back right now ( i speak spanish so my english is not very good specialy spelling )
but what i wanted to tell u is i had a cat with abcess , and i cured him with an ointment named "iruxol " which is for humans , it does an ezymantic cleanning in ulcers , it does not let them dry on the surface until the bottom is cured , so it`s perfect for an abcess .
I first cleanned my cat�s abcess with h202 peroxide ? and then softly put the ointment on the abcess hole , and it took like a week to heal .
It was very good because it did not hurt and was not scary like some sprays are ...
i dunno if u still have ur cat with this problems ...but if u do , please find out the name for "iruxol " in english it�s composition is "cloranfenicol " and "colagenasa "
and teh lab is knoll .
