he crosses alone from the smiling timber land and
comes down into an open space among the trees. here a yellow stream flows from rotted moose hide sacks and
sinks into the ground, with long grasses growing
through it and vegetable mound overrunning it and
hiding its yellow from the sun; and here he muses for
atime, howling once, long and mournfully, ere he
depart...

but he is not always alone. when the long winter
hights come on and the wolves follow their meat into
the lower valleys, he may be seen. a ghost wolf
runnning at the head of the pack through the pale
moonlight or glimmering borealis, leaping gigantic
above his fellows, his great throat a-bellow as he
sings a song of the younger world, which is the song
of the pack....

*the end has come*

but its not over

my life goes on,

in green grass and clover

don't forget me

i'm always around

listen to the wind

and hear my sound

the howl of the wolve is always near,

listen hard and you may hear...

the freedom rings close and loud.

and dark spirits float high and proud

**thanks to everyone! i'm sorry i can't take it
anymore. thanks to the book call of the wild by jack
londen. i wrote the end poem. bye guys i'll keep
checking in though...im getting who ever takes over to
play my other tree wolves.**
