This year is going to be very strange as everything will be rushed. Usually my inlaws come down to us as Robert gets only gets Christmas and Boxing day off from work but this year we are going down to them as my mother inlaw has only just got out of hospital after being in there for over three months.
We are taking everything down with us on Christmas Eve, I'll be cooking there etc and we come back Boxing Day evening - after which I shall probably need a rest!
I've done all my usual things though - all my christmas biscuits for friends, presents, events - just made mince pies today to take with us. . . worst thing is that I've had a terrible cold and cough since Thursday and so no signs of getting better!
