Subject: There are a few to choose from, but my shortlist is "Flash Gordon", "Close Encounters..." and "Shrek". I first saw "Flash Gordon" at a university film club and everyone booed and hissed the baddies and cheered the hero. It was just like being at a pantomime! "Close Encounters" is a great film. I think the scenes at the end when the spaceship makes contact are brilliant. "Shrek" is an odd choice, as I don't generally like animations, but I love this one.

  • Despite it's length, I love Titanic. Another favourite is a very silly film called "Oh brother where art thou" with gorgeous George Clooney. The new Lord of the Rings film is pretty amazing too. I can't wait for the second part to come out on DVD. -- Helen, 11:03:01 09/29/02 Sun
