Subject: Well, growing up I had both and preferred the dog. Taffy was a collie - bright and affectionate. Kitty was an ex-farm cat who wasn't much interested in human contact. It's now a different story as we're owned by four cats. They're great company, each with their own very distinctive personality. Dogs would be harder work because of exercising them, plus they don't use a litter tray and you couldn't leave them alone for long.

  • It has to be cats. It's something in the family. Everyone has 1 or 2 cats. After Willy died, it was hard to get another cat but we like to have 1 or even 2 now. I guess, we are almost ready to get a kitten. (NT) -- Miranda, 10:18:24 10/06/02 Sun
