I'm one of those annoying people who finishes it all by the end of October - that's because I buy things throughout the year and put them away. When I see something suitable I buy it and if the person's birthday has past then it's saved for Christmas. I find that if you leave it later you buy things that are twice as expensive and half as good!
Plus I bake three different types of biscuits each year as part of the presents and the biscuits are probably the more popular items! I did it one year, bought tins for everyone and in December they give them back and I refill them - it's a tradition now! It does mean that I spend the whole of December baking - and wrapping presents cos I do all the fancy stuff with bows and curling ribbon. . .Sorry, lost the thread as to WHY I do this exactly! LOL
