[> [> ~:Double Image:~ -- Sun and Star, 20:12:40 06/23/03 Mon [1]

Golden 'ness clasps paws with the other dragon firmly, but her face reports of tension, a need to get away, and something untouchable or identifyable. All at once, Sun crouches low while her wings stretch to the sky and to their limit. With a jump and mighty heave of her wings, Sun takes off for a destination known only to herself at the moment, and anguished roar following in her wake.
As she takes off, both dragonesses realize a scroll was left in the spot where Sun had rested. Star reaches for it with a tentative paw, then unrolls it for anyone curious to read. The paper reads as thus:
To anyone who finds this worth reading:
I am leaving this behind in the case of an event such as my leaving the Lights to reside in the land of Dark. I am not sorry for my descision, only sorry for leaving my sister behind. I would have brought her with me had I not known how devote she was to serving the purpose and life of a Light. I will perhaps, actually most likely, see her again someday. Perhaps anyone who reads this I'll see again, but for now I will remain in Dark lands, not even venturing out on foray's or such. Once again, sister of mine, I am sorry.

~Sun Dancer

Star, after having read the note, brigs her paws to her face to cover the tears that course silently earthward. For a few moments, the only movement, let alone sound, you see about her is the ocational heave of her shoulders. Finally, Star sits back up, her face having been dried and her composure found. I wouldn't want my sister to live somewhere she didn't agree with or to live deceptivly. I am glad that she's found her true calling. I am not certain that I however, like being left behind. I don't agree with Darks or agree wth their....."habits".....but I will desperatly miss my sister. I don't think, Cherry, that I will join those around Mist and Kijalos at this moment. Maybe when not so much is weighing my mind down. With that, Star slumps downward till she's flat on her back, hindlegs curling slightly to one side and her frontlegs folded across her chest, silver eyes vacant as she stares at the sky, lost in thought.
