Subject: ~Shimmer~

Large body of the dragoness is on the ground, lazing about, while her mind is filled with pictures of an unknown calling. She herself knows what it is, but the onlooker does not. Her blue eyes were shut and one silver claw was tracing circles in the earth. Suddenly, the eyes open and she sits up till she's balanced on her hind legs, but still sitting at the same time. Sparks! She cries out, wanting to ask something of her son. His reply would dictate her next move in life. Sparks! I have a question to ask you!

He sits before her on his own gleaming indigo haunches, silver belly shimmering. His silver gaze was questioning as he looked at her. What wrong mother? What is it? he asks, a little worried but trying not to show it....

I'd love to have another little brother or sister! I miss Goldie still, but I'm glad that hasn't gotten you totally down. He hugs her close. If you feel you're ready to take care of another little one, I'd be happy to play the 'big brother', he says happily...

Of course I miss Goldie. I mean, she will never leave our hearts, but if there is a little one out there who needs a family, then why not give it a family who will love it? Plus, it'll be good to have little ones around me once again. She smiles, her face misty, then it once again brightens, then turns sly. So what are the looks that I've seen you give Star lately? Are you interested Sparks? Her face isn't one of teasing, but of understanding and happiness.

She could tell that he didn't want to talm about it, so she pushes forward with the subject anyway. Do you like her? I mean interested in her? I'm only curious about the relationship that existes between my friends and my son. And in how that relationship might change! She adds wickedly, teasing him mercilously with a wide grin lighting her face. She adds something, trying to let him know of something without diverting from teh subject at hand. I have also adopted a dragonling. A little female. I want you to come meet her after we are done talking.

Yes, Icey, this is your brother! She smiles, indicating the dragon she had been talking to. As for the other comment. You are a lucky little girl. Food has been short around here lately, but a couple of our friends dropped in and brought two big deer! She motions towards what was left of a buck and doe. If you want, you may have your fill!

She smiles, happy that her children were getting along s well. Sparks, this is Icey Fire, aka Icey. Icey, this is your big brother, Sparks. She waits to see what would develope. Oh and Sparks. She adds with a smile. We will continue our conversation later.

I've known that for a long time, Icey. Yep, he's a joker. Now.. she groans as she curls up on a warm rock. With one eye open slightly, she murmurs Play nice you two. I'm gonna take a long-awaited nap!with that, and a last sigh, she closes her eye and falls into a deep slumber.
