Subject: ~Day and Night~

SunDancer glides along, copper wings stretched out to their limit as they sliced through the air. Gold eyes look down for a landing spot as she drops her speed and brings her wings in slightly. Seeing a clear, flat area that would work well, Sun tips slightly to the left, spiraling down till her feet land with a loud *thump*. She looks up to track her sister's progress.
StarBurst follows slightly in her sister's wake, her blue wings being caressed by the wonderful breeze. Silver eyes watch Sun's descent. Then, spotting where she had landed, Star turns slightly to the right and hegins to spiral out of the sky. Her landing didn't make as much noise as Sun's had, but then again, Star had always been more agile than Sun. Her silver gaze searches the lands for the ones she knew where there. But where were they?

Sun flinches slightly at the sound of such an evil voice, and an infant one at that, being spoken in a Light land. Her gold eyes dart to him, sitting there, and she shows golden teeth that gleam wickedly in the light in a smile frozen by the aprehension that the voice had eminated from such a small dragon. Her voice shows her slight confusion. Welcome back? How did you know that we had been here before?
Star moves away from the voice before she actually searches for it's source. When she finds it, her silver eyes widden in amazment that a child would sound so evil already. Her eyes go back to their normal position as she takes in the drake's appearance. Her voice nor her face show any emotion as she speaks. Hello there. Thank you for welcoming us. Do you know where Sparks is? Star stares at him without blinking, something that almost always bothered anyone who tried to stare back. Her silver eyes had that reaction upon others. But only when she wanted that to happen.

:.Cold, he was amused by her stupidity. Obviously she didn't know who he was. That was her own fault. He wasn't about to tell her, either. Now, he directed his thoughts towards the other. Both were wastes of his time. Useless and slow. But this one perhaps less so than the first. He accepted her pitiful excuse for a challenge and contact her optics with his own. Dark and cold he snagged her mind and soul, attacking it with a darkness only he could conquer. He was a poisonous will. One that already, was dreaded. And feared. A snicker echoed into her mind and he spoke.:

:.He sneers, an infectious darkness that was spreading firmly throughout these light lands. And yet, no one had taken the time to notice. Good for them. They were making his life easier.:

Sun wasn't in the least bit hurt that he didn't pay any attention to her, so she settled back and watched him and her sister.
Feeling the strange way that he was trying to "enter" her, Star withdrew from him even more. If her eyes had been cold before, they were freezing now. Knowing how he felt about them, she told him, No, my sister and I aren't stupid. We know who you are. Your Byrn, one of Goldie's babies. Your sister is Lyf. As I said before, we're not dumb, we just choose to let others come to us, rather than go to them. For the most part anyway. Her voice was flat and monotonous, showing Byn how little her view on him was becoming.

:.The drakling laughed again, a cold and mocking sound. She was challenging him. Even Lyf, his younger sister had not done this. And she was perhaps the only being on this plain of existance that could challenge him, and possibly walk away unharmed. But even that was unlikely.:
:.He responded instantaneously. As his sister erupted in light, he was darkness. Scales fell to ashen and optics glowed a bloody red. Talons, nail, optics, all red as blood. He was a creature of blood and shadow. For one so small, he was suddenly huge. A tower mass of evil in a land that should have remained untouched. Teeth bared, he struck at the dragoness. As claws stuck scale,.:
:.It was gone. The drake of blood and shadow, dissolved. And in its place, the sneering drakling. Restored to his former glory of crimson and white. He laughs again and narrows black optics at the female.:

:.He snickers and turns. Dropping away into the blackness. And was gone.:

Sun stared wide-eyed at the drake that had become so manacing. Surprised, she went to her sister to check to see that she was alright.
Star's eyes narrow as she watches Byrn fade into the dark. Oh well... she thinks to herself, not in the least bit frightened of him.
