Author: Port Kembla Supporters [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 16:47:16 08/30/02 Fri As the cliche says - it's been a long time between drinks - but now that the boys are here in the finals, the whole of the Port Kembla community that supports the Mighty (again) Blacks is proud to cheer you on to premiership success. You have all done a tremendous job this year - from the starting thirteen to the reserves, the guys who might have played only one or two games for firsts, and the guys who stuck it out in Reserve Grade. Many people don't know what it means to be a part of a "club" rather than a "team", but from what I've seen from the hill this year, The Blacks are a Club, proud in tradition, and proud of what they are doing now, and I am pleased to say from the look of it, proud of their future and where they are going. Congrats to Luke Goodwin for the job done this year. I understand it's his first year coaching - a job well doen - ROOKIE OF THE YEAR !!! Let's all get to WIN on Sunday and cheer on our beloved Blacks. The Canaries won't know what's hit them. Go Boys, the whole of your supporter base are proud of what you have achieved and will be just as proud of you at the end of Sunday's game regardless of the result, but we know you can go all the way.
