Joy,
Thank you for your reply and peace be with you. My friend is doing fine. Recently I gave her a book about Padre Pio and also a prayer card. She is showing interest about the Catholic faith. She attended my Confirmation as well. I chose St. Pio as my patron Saint or maybe he chose me, I'm not sure.
I have also noticed that every picture or relic of St. Pio radiates heat! At first I thought I was crazy but everyone that I have shown this to has felt it as well.
Another interesting thing happened to me about a month ago.
I was very depressed a decided to write a letter to St. Pio for guidance. I waited a couple of days and nothing happened. But when I least expected it, I opened my Magnificat devotional and sure enough there was a reading written by Padre Pio himself about Christian suffering! It was just what I needed at the time.
There are countless miracles that have happened in my life through the intercession of St. Pio. I give all the glory and honor to Jesus Christ!!!
