I know this is probably the last thing you want to talk about.I'm going to be in my local news paper. The paper said that they were looking for their readers thoughts about september 11 to possibly be published and mine is one of them to be published here it is.

I was always the one out of everybody I knew who wore the shirts with the flag on them.I was always patriotic.I've always heard about Osama Bin Ladden and when I went to talk about him to friends they had no idea who I was talking about.I was always upset in the lack of interest my friends had in the news and their country.I know there are others out there that must know how I feel.I remember the first attack on the trade centers.[the car bombs] I remember being 13 and thinking oh my gosh I can't believe somebody would do this.I have to admit I wasen't surprized when September 11 happend.I was sickend and sadened that in 2001 such a horrific act would even be possible.I don't care if it's impossable but I still would like to believe that world peace could happen someday.September 11 brought us to our knees.I'm proud that we came together as a country.I remember momorial day of 2001 I did what I've done every year sence I could remember.I went to watch the annual parade that marches on highland ave.Barley anybody was there to watch.I remember when I was young you always had to get a spot to sit real early because the streets were packed.I was disgusted that only a few people went.I don't care how small the parade is.The amount of people marching doesn't matter. What matters is that you honor those who faught for us to be able to have the oppertunites we have today.I feel that September 11 brought out the well needed well deserved respect that the citicens of America should have for this country.I feel so bad for the families and friends of the victims and it's sad that such a sick thing had to happen for some people to egknowledge how great their country is.Im proud of the women and men fighting in afganistan.I'm also proud of all of the rescuers. What happend in Pennsylvania,Washington DC and New York will never be forgotten and/or forgiven.I get mad about this country a lot but I do know that we have it so much better then so many other countries.September 11 will always remind us of what we have and what we so sadly lost.

On September 11 I went to the wake of a child hood friend. It was such a bad day.Everytime I hear about september11 I feel like crying but I'm not sure if it's because of the attacks or my friend. This is hard.I saw it all happen.I always watch the today show.
HOPE EVERYBODY IS GREAT,
HUGS AND LOTS OF LOVE - SHAUNA
