Subject: Why I am not a baseball fan

1. It's all about the money: The players and owners have proved that time and time again-from '94 until this year. They care nothing about the fans and the integrity of the game.
2. Pete Rose is not in the hall of fame: He's in my opinion the greatest baseball player of all time, and they are letting something that happened 15 years ago keep him out of the hall of fame. It's just not right-plenty of others have been forgiven for lesser evils by MLB.
3. No revenue sharing: Teams like the Yankees and Braves hoard all the money and win pennants while the rest of the league struggles to survive. Teams have to go severely in debt like the Diamondbacks just to win championships. The
NFL, using revenue sharing, keeps teams afloat.As a result,
different teams win championships every year, making football much more exciting than baseball (more on that later).
4. Boring: Why is it that most of the time baseball is as exciting as watching mosquitoes mate?
5. "Take me out to the ballgame.": Well duh, I'm already at the friggin ballgame.
