We are not privy to individual results over here unless one looks specifically for a name.
However, isn't Zulkifli the Deputy President/Chairman of UMNO? If he lost his seat - that is quite a monumental defeat for the Government.

I do sympathise for the fact that the Opposition did not win enough seats, but I think that is also most important that lessons be learnt from what transpired.
Rome was not built in a day.....but it appears that the foundations have been laid for the Colliseum on 5th May.

For all its worth, independent so-called political analysts were calling it 50-50 on the eve of the elections.
Post elections, it has been suggested that a lack of cohesion between the Opposition parties and a fear of the unknown (besides some vote rigging) led to the incumbent Government being returned.
Can you let me know the final overall results as to how many seats did the Opposition win from the Government (if any) and what are the results of the State elections and Upper House?

Anyhow, it will be interesting to hear some of the selected anecdotes that you will be writing.
