Re the sighting of possible wreckage, one piece is quite large at around 24m. So there may be hope yet re debris from a wing or fuselage.
The site is over 2,000kms from Perth - so it's a long way for any aircraft or sea vessel to check it out quickly.
Keep your fingers crossed that there will be a conclusion.
