I just wanted to say Hi to everyone, I haven't seen or talked to alot of you in a long time. I miss everyone and would love to hear how your doing. This past year has been crazy and great, but it made me miss Greg more. On Feb. 23rd I had a perfect little boy, Aidan Prentice. I wish you could see him, he's great and he laughs all the time. I also got married on Sept. 4th and really missed you on that day. It just seems a little emptier on those important days without Greg there. Well, like I said I would love to hear from everybody and know how you are.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you. I don't see many of Greg's friends anymore but I think about you
all a lot. Greg lives on through you and your memories of him so please don't ever lose those memories. Stay safe and happy in the coming New Year and if you ever need someone to just talk with I'm always here.

hey there to all! just wanted to drop in and say that no matter where i've been in the last 3 years of what has been going on in my life, i have still kept greg in my heart and mind. Like during real bad rain storms, the thought of just driving around and laughing at everyone broke down, running through meijer while their electric was off. Eating frosting straight out of the jar for hours then complaining about not feeling well. But mostly the simple fact of when you pass someone you used to hang out with back when we were together everyday, and the only thing you can come up with to say is "how you been" then you just walk/drive away. i know i'm guilty of it, i know i saw jessi about a year ago in meijer and we talked for maybe 5 min. That's it, someone i used to see all the time almost everyday, and we only had about 5 minutes of catching up to do? I know we've all changed and probably for most in a lot of ways, but i know no matter how much my life has changed, i haven't nor will i ever forget greg or any of you! Heather

I stumbled into this site and have read EVERY single page. I did not know Greg-but feel like I did now- or shall I say that with all the love he gave his family and friends- I wished I had known him! I too have been touched by suicide and can/do understand. I can only say to hold on to each other as tightly as you can and continue to watch Greg's spirit shine through Hailey!

Hi! I had an idea, and I don't know if any one else would like to try it, but I was thinking that maybe those that loved Greg could keep in touch by listing events that are happening in their lives here on his message board. This way it would be like we are still including Greg, and keeping in touch at the same time. Everyone's busy and it's hard to keep in touch, but maybe if we started communicating here, it wouldn't be as hard. I'd like to apologize to those that I haven't kept in touch with. From the bottom of my heart, I am deeply sorry. Please forgive me. Life has been crazy busy, but nothing should ever come in between the one's you love no matter how busy one is.
Here is a little update on my life:
I got married on December 27, 2003 to Aaron Sayers. It was a magical, sunny , and warm day that was almost perfect. The only thing that went wrong was that the best man gave the pastor the wrong ring as we were saying our vows. Other than that, it was the most wonderful day of my life. After the new year, Aaron and I took our honey moon in Riveria Maya, Mexico. The ocean was beautiful and our hotel was gorgeous. We had a lot of fun chasing the iguanas on the beach. Currently, I am working as a full time aide in a mutilage classroom at Elmwood Place Elementary. I am also finishing up my degree in early childhood education and looking for a job for next year's school year. There are currently not a lot of openings, so it's been somewhat discouraging. I've also become an independent beauty consultant for Mary Kay cosmetics. So as you can tell, I've been pretty busy. mom and Dad have spilt up, and both have significant others. Dad bought a house in Batavia, and his new girlfriend moved in. Mom is also dating someone, and I've never seen her happier.
Our new address is 5609 Happy Hollow Apt. 3, Milford, OH 45150. my home phone number is 831-2768, and my cell number is 519-8690. I'm on Spring Break from work this week, so if anyone wants to get together, give me a call. Love you guys!

If you all would have to pick ONE favorite memory of Greg, what would it be?
(I know it's hard to narrow them down).

Mine would probably have to be the time he and I were watching Graham fix
the Manza and I was trying to teach him high kicks in my driveway for like 2
hours. He never got above his knee. We were like, "One, two, three kick!" and
then he would either stumble or fall to the ground laughing with his signature
laugh of his.

Hello everyone... I just wanted to let everyone know that the web site (www.thinkofgreg.net) is back up & running. I had difficulties renewing the domain name with a new registrar, but all is fixed now. I hope to have the domains thinkofgreg.com & thinkofgreg.org also, but it may take another week or so.

My memory of Greg leaving us is just as fresh as if it were yesterday... I guess this is something you never really get over, no matter how old you are or how much time passes. I have just come to accept that this is life - the happy & the sad - is just the way life is. I think that being able to live thru it, being able to go on another day, that is what living is really all about. I have come to appreciate all the people I come in contact with everyday - even the little old lady that needs a little help with the door, the mom that needs an extra hand leading her kids across a parking lot, and especially the one that just needs a hug or a listening ear - people are life - people make life worth living. I know Greg will always be alive in the hearts and memories of the people he touched. May God bless you all.

Nancy

I hope everyone is doing ok.

Jessi,
I miss you too babe! I'm off for three weeks for winter break starting Dec 20, and ending January 13. So maybe if you have a day off, we could go to lunch or something. I'd love to see Haily. Sorry it's been so long. This semester has just been sooo crazy. Maybe you could come see my apartment in Norwood. Just let me know if you have any free time coming up. Love you!

Hey everyone! All of this snow has me thinking about all the great memories that I ahve of Greg in the snow. Do you all have a favorite? Mine would be when the K.O.D. went sled riding on the Dot hill down by the creek, and some wierd kid we didn't know started making fun of my brother. Jessi got up in the kid's face and started swinging. I guess the kid swung back because all I can remember after that is Greg yelling, "YOU NEVER HIT GIRLS!" He then beat the kid up. We had sooo much fun sled riding that day. I laughed so much I thought I was going to puke.

P.S. Betty, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this season, and that Greg is not forgotten!

We are working on the Memory Lane page now and it should be up
soon. I'm sorry it's taking so long but it's not easy doing this.
I just keep putting it off and then when I do work on it I can
only do it for a short while.

I was just wanted to say hi & see what was posted here on the
new board.

The new web site, www.thinkofgreg.net is back up after a server
switch (that had a few problems).

It seems everytime I've been through Milford lately I see one
of Greg's friends. In a store, in a restaurant, driving
by...... he was truely blessed to have so many friends to share
his life with. He was blessed with Jesse and then Hailey. A
man (or woman) can live many more years than Greg without true
love or a child. I think the family was blessed most of all,
because we had Greg from the beginning. We got to watch him
grow up and see his personality develop. Family gatherings,
when he was little, were always something to look forward to.
He gave us laughter and love, in his own unique way.

I now know that as long as I live, I will always miss Greg,
sometimes more, never less. Learning this lesson in life for
me, has been difficult. I know it must be difficult for anyone
that Greg touched in his short life. Having others to share
this feeling with, brings me a great comfort. Thank you all
for being there....

Nancy
