Actually, people also mock self-righteous fuckwits who think that their laughable beliefs and incoherent moral positions make them better people and above criticism. You should try it sometime.
I for one think I understand the Hippie worldview(s) perfectly well. I just happen to think it's crap, is all.

So anything postive is denounced, is it? So tell me, where were all the jokes about, say, Mandela's release and the end of apartheid, or the fall of the Berlin Wall? Open up a paper- do you see cartoons making fun of Amnesty or World Vision? No, you don't, and do you know why? Because these are serious people tackling serious issues in a serious way, not fucking about in the forest pretending they are in touch with the Great Earth Spirit who for some reason only chooses to communicate with the stoned.
Of course, that's your right. Just don't think that your claims to be saving the world are above critique.

Ok, two things:
a) This is an Australian site. Not sure how you think the people here got Bush into power exactly...
b) Bush is in power because Big Oil bankrolled him. I somehow doubt the guys behind this site are also American oil company executives.
