Subject: Why the fuck do you care?

If you live in the offical mullet capital of the world, then why are you so worried about my government's politics. I see no reason why someone who is not an American should have to spend their time talking about a country they have nothing to do with. If I'm correct your country has plenty of it's own problems to talk about.

YOUR country, on the other hand, is scaring the shit out of people all over the world. The united states is the golbal equivalent of a retarded bully who's been handed a loaded machine gun. And you wonder why I'm worried about your government. -- Lethal Larry, 15:44:27 08/01/04 Sun (px3wh.vc.shawcable.net/24.69.255.204)

I mean any even moderatly mentally sane person would agree that people talk about the stuff they're interested in, whatever this may be.

I'm sorry I thought the rest of the world agreed that the Great United States was the protector of the free world aftered Britain couldn't handle the job. And you don't want to get me started on the third world was if it wasn't for us you canadian tard your country would have been over run with Russians but I'm sure you would have liked that you pinko commie bastard. Now if you want to talk about America freeing the poor bastards around the world who try to fight for their freedom with sticks and stones against AK-47s and bio weapons, then please take the cold hearted side and say every man for themselve and don't let the Americans get involved. But trust me the world would be a much better place if I had power first I would stop sending aid to your scandal riddin U.N. and let "wealthy" countries like your's do it all...........but wait the U.S. provides muti-billions of dollars more than anyother country on this planet. And I would also send all of our troops back to the U.S. and let the U.N. support themselves but I don't think they would get to far see as how America provides over 3/4 of the air and ground troops, and any rouge nation would laugh in the face of Canada's 300 support troops. So maybe you should think about that before you go dismissing the Super Power known to all as the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

[> [> [> The world wouldn't need insane armed muderous forces, such as yours, if your foreign policy wasn't set up to simply go around the world and make enemies. -- Lethal Larry, 17:02:05 08/02/04 Mon (px3wh.vc.shawcable.net/24.69.255.204)

You know why Canada doesn't have a huge army? We don't need one. Your idiotic leaders justify the spending of over 365 billion (yes, billion, with a b - that's a billion dollars a day, by the way) on your murderous goon squads because you occasionally get someone lashing out at you . someone attacked us, oh, poor us, other people are just evil and they "hate democracy and freedom" (you people are idiots for thinking like that), yet you never seem to be capable of wrapping your heads around such simple concepts like, oh, I dunno.... WHY they might want to attack you? Hmm? Could it be that just perhaps there are people in the world who are justifiably outraged at the interference your country has caused with theirs? I don't condone violence, but I can certainly sympathize with anyone who'd want to lash out. Your government is soaked in blood.

Oh, yeah, you do have the biggest armed force in the world. You need it because you're a nation of sociopaths who can't understand how to get along peacably with other people in the world.

i can understand your anger at american politicians, but our government's foundation was based on principals that canada adopted for their own. democracy was not a french idea or even a british one. countries from which canada was founded. democracy was an american ideal that we formed to break free of tyranny and rule without representation. so when you knock america, all americans, remember you knock yourself too.

our soldiers are doing their jobs, and they are trained to AVOID civilian casualties in this day and age. as much as possible anyways. most soldiers do not want to go to war, but it is what they have to do if they are employed by the army. of course some sign up to fight, especially after 9-11. but maybe you have not been aware of the fact that the army gaurd and reserve units are having trouble filling their slots with recruits over the policy and war in iraq. my husband certainly didn't want to go, nor did he shoot anyone who hadn't shot at him first. he went out of his way to help protect the children he saw there. he said he could see his kids in their faces. most iraqi's thanked him. of course, he was in the first wave of the war. now, they might feel differently. and a lot of the resentment that has been transferred onto america by these radicals comes from the emperialism of ENGLAND, not us. they are fearful and wary of ANY foreign country who comes to their land, regardless of it's intentions. heck, they blame us for ARABS displacing palestinians. now that israel has a home there, they cry foul. i read up on this a bit. it was fascinating.

sure we have idiotic, war mongering presidents and a few bad apples in our military but canada is certainly not faultless when it comes to domestic policy. i do not recall canadians or any country (including america) interfering with the genecide of over 700,000 africans in 60 days in rwanda. where was your country's compassion for other countries or the little guy then from which you so adamantly try to speak for now? i don't think canada has earned the right to speak for anyone else. i certainly was outraged as a human, never the less as an american, over the lack of response then AND over the response to saddam now. i think we should have waited until we caught osama and then went into iraq as a true coalition, not the lone ranger. at least try to find an alternative to war. we seem to think sanctions and war are the only 2 options in this world for some reason.

maybe you missed that almost half of the voters in america voted for SOMEONE other than bush and disagreed with the actions in iraq and how we handled that conflict. i think you have the right idea on protesting president bush and our foreign policy, but you need to go back to the drawing board a bit before you praise canada as some majestic saint and put all of us americans in hell with the minions. your country did stand behind us on 9-11. or at least they did in words. so not all canadians feel as you do, that we are the great devil. you seem to class us all together like in a giant racial profile of some kind as though we all think alike and act alike. there are many great americans. i would hope that you tried to seek some of them out instead of lashing out at us all and blaming us for the actions of some.

[> [> [> [> another point, a short one i might add. -- bobbi, 15:19:47 04/26/05 Tue (adsl-68-91-144-124.dsl.wacotx.swbell.net/68.91.144.124)

murderous forces existed in the arab culture (moores) long before america even existed. they invaded lands and did unspeakable acts to those they conquered. as did the french, romans, greeks, germans, vikings, bolshavicks, japan, china (both before and during communism)........they certainly can't claim to be bloodless. not all of that was ancient history mind you. there was a legion of suicide fighters who existed a 1000 years before jesus in the middle east. emperial england was nasty. the list goes on and on.

we are but one member of a very large group called the "murderous" club.
