Russet merely regarded the male with a scathing stare. "Is it not?" she asked coolly. "Odd... I thought that everything happened in his park was of father's concern. Why do I doubt you'd repeat these same words if he was here, Brutas? Or do you really think he'd approve to know you are mates with some filthy red vixen? I don't think he'd like this... not at all. am I wrong or was it your brother who let that pathetic Farthing Wood cub escape? And father hasn't been much kind with him, has he?" her voice was mockingly sweet. She was not at all impressed by his growls - as if this was the first time she was growled at!
When he talked about her "father", however, Russet's hackles raised slightly and she bared her teeth. How dared he! "Just so you know, what he does want is to know whether or not you were tracking some captives or whatever. And before you ask, no, he's not gonna be understanding just 'cause you found your one great love today. When I last saw him he was scowling Bounder and even bit him. Wonder what will he do to you and your lady-friend here?"
Narrowing her eyes, she stared coldly at the couple. "Don't be stupid, Brutas. Even if you attacked me, I only need a bark and father, Bounder, Titan and all the rest of our pack will be here before you know it. And you'll both be dead. Or you can give yourselves up, and then you'll be punished as the two traitors you are. Choice is yours. Either ways, you are lost." her grin grew even wider. "That is... if I decide to tell father about your little secret. I might not let him know, yet, and you both would live. But I want something in exchange" she added, her voice like poisoned honey.
