] Date Posted: 14:47:02 08/15/18 Wed In reply to: American_Spirit 's message, "Agent Orange exposure at Utapo AFB ?" on 12:52:04 07/11/07 Wed My name is Curtis Grantz. I was stationed State side at Wright Patterson AFB Ohio. I was a crew chief 17th Bomb Wing (SAC) flew on KC-135A planes. I did 3 tours between 1969-1972 to U-Tapao Thialand AFB to support the Young Tiger Mission. I have type II diabetes and a was diagnosed 3 years ago with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. I have been denied twice by the VA for compensation related to Agent Orange in the past two years. Just recently I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and am in the process of trying again to be compensated. I have submitted to the VA a copy of my orders stating to report to U-Tapao AFB to support the Young Tiger mission. I also found out that 14 organic compounds, including trichloroethylene (TCE) and tetrachloroethylene (PCE) in relatively high quantities have been found in wells serving the base at Wright Patterson and nearly 17 wells have been shut down due to contamination or age. I am seeking guidance in gathering more information to send in to the VA besides my new diagnosis of Parkinson's to support my case for Agent Orange. Any ideas? Thank you [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
