I was assigned to "Tiger Flight" at Korat from 69-70. Worked all areas of the perimeter and also out at the Bomb Dump. Sometimes I ran coffee and whatever else I could scrounge from the chow hall out to the positions and dog handlers. There was plenty of dead vegatation all around the perimeter. I now have Type II, high blood, heart stint, neurapathy, enlarged prostrate, anemic, thyroid problems, depression(which gets worse when I take my 14 perscriptsions every morning!)and probably something else that I can't think of right now. After 4 yrs 2 months active, I spent 27 yrs in USAFR (31 yrs total) retiring as CMSgt. I was turned down for VA benefits about 2 yrs ago because, at the time, I MADE TOO MUCH MONEY!! If anyone is having any luck with Agent Orange claims at the VA I would very much like to know. Now that I am retired and broke maybe I get at least get a ID card from those kind folks down at the VA! Oh, by the way, the LTC who was my Commander denied my request for a discharge physical due to "lack of funds". Look forward to a reply from you guys...I've done got myself so mad writing this that I probably won't sleep tonight!
