I am writing this for my husband and don't have all the facts will get them as soon as he can give them to me. He was stationed at Ubon during the Viet Nam conflict. I was sent 180 days back to back to Viet Nam. How do I prove to the VA claims people I had boots on the ground. That is what I have to do to further my claim. Have Diabetes Type II, Aschemic heart disease. I was assigned to the 8 TFW, in supply. Thank you for any help.

Military members flying into or out of Thailand generally landed at DaNang
or Tan Son Nhut Air Base, Vietnam.

You can verify this fact by requesting your pay records; e.g., travel vouchers
for the desired period(s).

Corporate Communications
POIA/PA Office - ZCF/IN

The pay records will be stamped "Combat Zone" if landed at any base
in Vietnam.
