] Date Posted: 07:58:12 03/16/11 Wed Although my husband, Edward Slover, was not in the seurity forces or a dog handler, he was stationed 635 Supply Sq, Utapao from Jul 68-Sep 69, died last May from Parkinsonism Plus. I am trying to gather information or someone who can and will attest to exposure to herbicides. As you probably already know, the VA accepts Parkinson’s as one of the presumed service related diseases if a veteran set foot in Viet Nam or served in security forces/dog handlers who patrolled base perimeters in Thailand. Ed was NCOIC of the automotive warehouse, inside and outside storage for part of his tour and as a supply inspector for part. There is absolutely no family history of neuro diseases for many generations so I believe his disease and subsequent death were related to herbicide exposure. I would sincerley appreciate any help one can give. Thanks so much to all of you who have and are serving...as a wife I truly appreciate all that you and are going through. Date Posted: 15:33:45 04/17/12 Tue Sorry for your loss. Thailand vets MUST prove their MOS work duty was near the base perimeters to win a claim. Work location, photos, buddy letters, maps, military records are needed to show proff he worked near the perimeter. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 18:04:34 04/19/14 Sat I was at Utapao and worked in the CE Supply Point Compound. I know pesticdes were use there. In and outside our compound. Alot of it was sprayed by back packs and some was sprayed from little trucks driven by locales who worked on base. I just need someone to confirm locale of the CE supply point. It was near perimeter.
