As of 2010, Thailand vets in security who worked near the perimeter do not need to to prove there disease. Diabities is on the list. See on the web VA CP Bulletin May 2010 p.3 for new rules for approving VA claims in Thailand. You must have proof with your MOS, your duty was on the perimeter through military records. Good Luck

bASE PERIMETER 1970.IT WAS HOT AS "HELL" AND NO SHIRTS.I WAS ON DUTY WHEN THE NVA SAPPERS CAME THRU WE DEFINATLY HAD A VEGETATION PROBLEM ON THAT PERIMETER MY PRIMARY AFAC WAS 6450 INVENTORY MANAGMENT SPEC.HOW DO I OBTAIN MY AIRMAN PERFORMANCE REPORTS?WOULD IT REFLECT MY AUGMENTEE AND BARB/WIRE/CONCERTINA DUTY? I AM DX TYPE 2 DIABETES.I'M PRETTY SURE I HAVE PRESUMED EXPOSURE TO HERBICIDES FROM SPRAYING@UBON.I DID FILE A CLAIM A FEW YEARS AGO IT WAS DENIED.DO YOU THINK I HAVE A SHOT?
