Subject: reunion

to all my 3/1 brothers. would like to throw in my home town as a possible site for a reunion. rochester, mn. is a very veteran friendly town. back in 1966 we adopted the 173 airborne. sending care packages and letters to vets in the nam. we have many marines running business's here. the owner of the holiday inn is a marine vet. talking to him , he said we could have very cheap rooms. we have at least three eateries run by former marines who said they would take good care of us. my local v.f.w. will host a free dinner one of the nights. the mayor will sponser a free breakfast. also if we could have the reunon during the last week of june, my city has a celabration called rochesterfest. we have been invited to be guests of honor in the local parade. we are a VERY friendly veterans town. you should our local veterans memorial. i can assure you my fellow vets that you would all be taken good care of. our airport is quite close to the city. easy to get into town. please consider my town for a reunion in the future. any questions, email me or call 507 2812611. semper fi. david crawley
