Subject: Anyone who knew Danny Dean McGee, KIA, Jan 67

Writing a book on Danny Dean McGee. Facts are very confusing. Family has little info on his time with the Marines. Not even sure where he served. The Wall shows him being with the 1371. However, someone on a board told me it must have been the India Company -3/7. Danny was killed in what his family was told was an ambush as his unit was transporting prisoners. However, I can only find one other Marine killed in the Thua Thien Province on Jan. 23, 1967, where Danny was supposed to have been killed. If you knew Danny (from Conyers, Ga) and can help me with his time in the Marines, please contact me at mssaigon@alltel.net.
