I'm not sure what you mean by "lecture". I never spoke to her on the subject. I was told by some people who visit the site here that they had made attempts to contact her [Kiki] on that particular subject, to which I asked them not to quote [start a fight] but I never posted any messages on either of the Joaqrophenia boards concerning the topic, only mine.
(...and I apologized for putting her in that situation. She said not to worry, that she would work something out and that same day, she not only credited you and ask members to respect other fansites, she also put a link to you on the front page under "Casey Affleck Info."
I apologize for sending your pictures, but I never thought a celebrity picture would cause such a ruckus. I understand you paid a lot for them, but I really thought this site was abandoned.)
Sending pictures wasn't the problem. That was something I quite often encouraged. It was digitally removing the site's name from them before sending them. That was the problem. I can't understand how this site could be looked at as abandoned. And I'm not doubting you and your statement. I'm just always updating this site and adding to it every few days, whether it be images, articles, reviews, or news. Sometimes I add to it every day.
(Maybe you should take your own advice and research the origin of Amelia's post before attacking someone unfairly!
In short, if you feel the need to bitch slap someone, feel free to do it to me and leave Joaqrophenia out it.)
Lastly, I'm not "attacking" anyone unfairly in my opinion. My statements were more along the lines of, "If the shoe fits..." and they were directed to more than one place, with Joaqrophenia being the one who's posted message I responded to. The posted message stating that she was "tired of dealing with Casey Affleck fan sites and Joaquin fan sites and their constant fighting over who found it first." If it was "your" Yahoo group she's was complaining about then I would think she should've worded it differently than "Casey Affleck Fansites", considering that fans have in fact made contact with her on the subject of my pictures and the watermark, so it was in fact a past issue with her. And secondly, Yahoo groups are not normally considered "Fan-Sites". You don't build them, you fill them out.
Next, her comments "Get over it! We are all stealing it from someone, somewhere!! This would be so much more fun if there wasn't greedy people that demand attention!"
When you take into consideration the very problem I was having in regards to my images being taken and altered and myself having to put the coding into the pages to lessen the chance of that happening again...those words very much apply to me, whether that was the intension or not.
That statement applies to almost everyone out there who gets the slightest bit upset when someone raids their site for material they themselves as webmasters went through a lot of trouble to aquire. I did however figure out quite quickly the statements referring to Joaquin and the "flag up his ass", must have been directed to some other Joaquin fansite out there that were having their own issues with her.
But the Casey references and the stealing references...prehaps SHE should've researched the origin of her own statements first posting them. I was very clear on mine. Some of the images that wound up in the Joaqrophenia group were added AFTER she was told about the problem. And even AFTER I installed anti-right click coding. So the problem persisted. I don't blame fans as much as I would the moderator's of such groups because it's their responsibilty when they have image folders. It's sometimes also their responsibility to see about "replacing" those images that have been altered with the originals from the site in question that had watermarks after it was brought to their attention. That, or to simply remove the images in question.
Finally, I'm not the only website that has complaints about that group taking things and not giving credit back. There is another site of an actor who's had shared feelings on the subject. I'll let them be the one to speak openly about that if they so choose to.. It's not MY place to.
The only thing I feel I really should've clear up in my response is that my comments were not directed in any way to Amelia as it seemed to appear. The post was directed to the sites that use images with my watermark intentionally removed and mostly the "posted message" from Joaqrophenia.
P.S. I don't bitch-slap people...I just run a website.
