I am from Swindon too, and like yourself, a Christian and have a somewhat ambivalent view of ghosts, revenants, etc. I believe the soul goes on, also, but I also know that the Universe, ( or the Multiverse ) is so incomprehensible to even the most brilliant scientists that virtually anything could exist. I have had one or two very scary experiences myself, but it certainly has never shaken my faith in God. I think that we cannot put limits on God and whatever is ' out there ' , well, He is still over all and above all and understands the minutae of this Existence, which is more than I do. Therefore, I am interested in anything paranormal, but I still think to myself ' You are beyond it all, God. '. Very best wishes to you.
