Thanks for pointing me to a "full" board. It helps to see what the board will look like when enough users visit.

This layout seems fully workable, and I guess it is only a matter of preference, but here is my concern.

Since the threads don't collapse or open in other pages, a few long threads relegate earlier threads to the bottom of the page, or worse, to page 2. On the full board, complaints and comments about the bike shop pushed posts that were only two weeks old off the screen.

What I like about ezboard is that the threads are all compressed, and open in separate pages. Also, with Ezboard, a new comment moves a thread to the top. Concievable here, I could scroll down to that two-week old thread, add a comment, and yet that newest comment is down off the screen.
