It was a relief to return home to an empty apartment hours later. It was just before dawn and the boys had most likely shifted the fun to a bar or club, while he had ended up going to Nicole's. Seeing her, he had hoped, would remind him that they belonged together... Instead, he had only spent the last few hours comparing everything about her to everything about Pixie. With a low groan of frustration, he stripped off his jacket and shoes, discarded his shirt and then his 'beater - all on the way to his room.
