|her reflection and her fear|
|a bring flash to pursue|
|a dark slash to escape|
|her spry interplay of hidden things|
|and her visible wings|
|rippling upon that great black sail|
|of iron and andiron|
|thin and fractionary|
|a covenant of light|
|ark for the instant|
|echoing out the dark and the other|
|harmonizing with every broken philosophy|
|or displaced memory|
|and so thrust by shadow|
|and the vague hope|
|of color into a rhapsody of motion and meaning|
|albeit momentary|
|her pupils abstracting wider|
|crescenting still|
|and blacker|
|recieving all of it|
|and even more of it|
|though still only beholding some of it|
|until in the rage of reception|
|this clawing fearing shade|
|loses herself in fleeting madness|
|desire for sanguine fluid |
|herself after it all|
|as if she were possessed|
|as if that kind of physical responce|
|could approximate the witnessed world|
|which it can’t|
|though very little matters|
|enough to prevent the try|
|all of which is to say|
|in the end|
|she is but a panther|
|but panthers to talk to just the same|
|before in her own weaving and wending|
|she disappears|
|just as she first appeared|
|concepting from your imagination|
|vanishing amongst the shadows|
|her velvet melting|
|slinking back into that place of urban decay|
|anti-sound|
