the ashen wolf nodded, his lithe body creeping slowly along, inching closer to the stoats. they could each get one since the prey was so small....he turned his attention to the male. that one would be the hardest to handle. he was so close to them now he could define all the hairs on their backs. now! he leapt out of the shrubs he had been using as cover. with no den for them to run to they would have to fight, or run into Rain. his maw gaped open as he lunged at the male, pearly fangs glistening with saliva as he sought to injure the stoat.
