The falcon flaps tiredly, the letter still attached to his leg. He breathed in a slightly shallow way. He had not found Aslan, and the heat was unbearable. Suddenly, the thunderous flapping of wings larger then his own came to ear. He looked up. A huge eagle was preparing to land on a tree, and he was in the way. He moved, but the creature followed him, keen on the rabbit Uno had in his mouth. He tackled him in the air, causing the falcon to fall to the earth. He groaned, a small twinge of pain in his wing. He mised Kona, and wanted to go home. And he would do just that: go home. But he did not want to disappoint Kona. He made up his mind. He pushed off the ground with extreme difficulty, but managed. He flew in a very awkward way, the pain in hs wing increasing rapidly. He winced, and began to fly back to cool woods of Glacier Forest.
