We have a TS240 (no. 18, now called Jessie) with a transom-mounted hydraulic jack for the keel. It works fine and was, I believe, re-fettled by the previous owner, but I feel uncomfortable about my ignorance of its mechanics and maintenance. In particular, it leaks a small amount of fluid and I don't know how to replenish it or with what.

At the top of the pump block, under the handle, is a hexagonal nut apparently secured with a split pin. Is this the filler point? To the left of the block (looking aft) is a horizontal cylinder that I presume is the reservoir. Any advice or comments gratefully received.
