I've been thinking much about these three races and how interesting their early wars would be. Especially Romans fighting Persians. Both Persians and Romans have same UU (Uber unit) type. But they are like fire and water (+1 attack vs +1 defense). and when put together, they cancel! lets observe the case of persian immortal 4/2/1 ADM (attack, defense, move) VS roman legion 3/3/1. when fighting its immortals 4 VS legions 3 and when vice versa it's Roman's 3 VS Immortals 2. This would create a very exciting warring game as their superior swordsman are very close in competition. It will most likely be who attacks first case here, though in my opinion, having 3 vs 2 (50% more advantage) is better than having 4 VS 3 (33%) if you think mathematically. still, it's likely Romans won;t all be composed of legions and will have to use more economic phalanx to defend and when immortal goes against phalnax its overwhelming 4 to 2! (100% more chance!)

still yet there is civ trait to weigh in, in this competition. both civ has my four fav traits, persian's sci and ind and romans mil and com. I guess roman legions will enjoy more frequent promotion which will help unbalance above competition stated above even more, but persian industry is force to be reckoned with as well. This should be interesting.

Tossing in Greeks to this hot ancient wars for supremacy is even sicker as Greeks have without a doubt cheapest best defensive unit in game for ancient era and their sci, com trait makes them excel in science that much faster. more commmerce means you can crank more science... then maybe when those two buffons are fighting over which of their swordsman are better, you will be waltzing in with your knights. but until then you gotta be good defender and you have plenty of hoplites to work with that since they only cost 20 shields!
