Subject: 40-59 level Gaerlan Quest
Anyone wanting to go on this quest needs to show up at the Mansion at least 15 min. early and lets get the questions and the answers out of the way, before we do this quest..
This will be an event to say the least, should be a real blast..
Would like to know who is going to go and what your skill is so we can make some determination on melee walls mages and bow people.
Go to: http://www.aclore.com/hol/pilgrimfiles/gaerlans_citadel.htm for additional info on quest i would suggest you read this write up and make copies of sections #'s 2 riddle, #3 rolling ball of death, and #4 the floor puzzle. At these junctures you will have a little time to study copy as you are walking yourself thru these parts of the quest..
Will try and have someone with a portal to Tou-Tou to go to the Snow Valley portal at 27.1S / 96.0E at exit drop running to 73.4N / 3.4W to the Essence of Strife,will pick a safe point before we rush the portal entrance there will be Fire Elementals guarding the entrance, its best to ID the portal and run directly it portal dontfight just get into portal that is primary objective. Once inside everyone keep talk down to a minimum and listen to Fellow leader who on this run will probably be Fire's bow guy..
We will be around to ask answer questions between now and Wednesday, or ask your questions on this board and I or someone will answer your questions before the day is done. I surf these boards many times during the day even while at work so your questions will be seen and answered "PDQ". Oh one other thing if you are a buff bot baby like me and i assume several people are then get your main or the toon you are running the quest with an get him prebuffed and baned at the mansion and log him/her out there. You can log another one of you characters in and come to mansion for questions and answers, then at Fellow Leaders Signal everyone will log in their fully buffed toon for the run to the Essence of Strife and the start of the quest with a fully buffed toon to do quest.. That will eliminate a lot of time with everyone trying to get buffed by bot and or others.
I have seen a lot of clan's peeps that will fall into this 40-59 level range so this should be a good group to go on this first of what is to be many Wednesdays outings, looking forward to seeing you there...
Remember askus ingame or post questions on the boards and make copies of the riddle, rolling balls of death (showing safe spots), and the floor puzzle, listen to the fellow leader(s) and you will enjoy the run, lol, trust me this will be kinda trippy and fun :oÞ, Maggie's site also has a good write up on the quest i just happen to like this one a little better, better maps and xplanations...

We will also try to have someone with an Eastham portal for those poor souls that will croak in the rolling balls of death, LOL trust me again someone will bite the bullet on this one, so kids make sure you wear clean under-roo's because someone is likely to be picking up you stuff for yah, I know for sure i will have my clean whiteys on cause i might be the one to get runded over lol,

Ok I can either offer the services of
Kalaris Level 49(should be 50 tonight) sword wielder
base melee 297(+) and base sword 302(+)
or Kal XII level 44 bow/mage
base Bow 251,
my question, is that Kalaris cannot possibly go without buffs, actually the only reason I want to bring him is to get the martines robe (sad huh?) he has absolutely no magic and i haven't secured him proper items to cover his life and critter buffs, he can cast item v's for now sorta...
if there will be no kindly mage to buff my uber yet magically inept meatshield then I mus bring my bow mage.
so let me know, either way I'll be there!

Kal the first buff will take us all the way thru to the dungeon maze first half, after that the riddle, rolling balls of death and the floor puzzle will require no buffs at all, we will have to log back to mansion and rebuff and run to Eastham for re-entry to Gaerlan's Citadel for the final battle with him so some of us will have to come back and rebuff our toons anyway, lol its going to be a bunch of Laurel and Hardy with a little Keystone Cops thrown in this is going to be a hoot....hehe. So to answer your question take the meat shield Fire and I will hide behind YOU....LOL

Snow Shy and I did a dry run and tried to get to the portal but it turned out that its very frustrating to go there via the housing portal. Its better i think to go to crater and run from there. As for buff there "should" be a buff bot atthe mansion but if theres not i can log Rashima on and buff the group then log hail on to buff myself.

Hi folks, I'm going to be gone for birthday party out yonder in Saskatchewan. I'll be back next Wednesday, so after that I would love to take my little one (Happy Mage) on the quest. Hope everyone has a great weekend, and see everyone next week.
