I've been reading all the comments from this site and others re the Zafira 2.0 diesel. I have at present a 2.2 petrol manual Zafira and although the fuel consumption is not particulary good, I rarely need to put oil in. Now, the car is due to be changed as it's a company one and I was looking at the diesel as a more economic replacement. It hasn't helped that the company policy now is all diesel anyway. If I'm now going to put in a litre of oil every two weeks due to the mileage I do, then It doesn't sound like an option really. I think the Zafira is a great vehicle and WAS looking forward to the next one. Perhaps I should look at the lesser able Picasso. The only advantage of this one is that it does 10 MPG more than the Zafira. I suppose I had ought to check the oil consumption of that too!. Good web site people.
